Baby 1/14/13, a set on Flickr.
Here are the ultrasound pictures at 28 weeks. They are looking for signs of cleft lip and palate, so they took several 3D views of the face. Terry was not being super cooperative, though, and had it's hand in front of the face the whole time. At one point the hand was holding a foot, just to really obscure things.
I think everything is ok, but being the worry-wart that I am I will want to hear that from the radiologist report. The tech was not as chatty as other ones we have had, so of course I was reading things into her silence. To be honest, this was probably a really tough one to do- she really had to concentrate to get the right views because the baby is pretty smooshed at this point and there are limbs hiding the views they want. She got a really good look at the heart (the one reassuring thing she said was that it is standard to look so closely at the heart- she wasn't doing it because anything was wrong).
The best part was seeing the baby kick and feeling it at the same time. Terry REALLY doesn't like it when you press down on it's head. :)
I can't wait to meet the little fidgety bugger. Hurry up, April....
