First Day at Day Care

...and I'm at work staying busy so I won't cry.  Well, I cried a little this morning, but we got there and our friends were dropping off their daughter who was just so happy to be there that I was distracted from feeling sad.  Ms. Sal is going to take excellent care of Oliver and they are all just so happy to have a baby (the rest of the kids are 1 yr +).  He'll be well cared for and doted on, which befits his nickname, the Commodore (we don't call him a little prince, even though he kinda is...).

Daddy loves you, too!

I put him in this onesie so that every time someone read it out loud he would be reminded that Mommy Loves Him.  And Daddy, too (Peter came with me for the drop off so he could hug and kiss him before leaving).

We had a wonderful family day yesterday (no projects or major errands, just fun and hanging out) so I could relax a bit and enjoy our time together before the week started.

Peter did his best Mr. T impression with Garanimals links in lieu of a gold chain.  Oliver was only mildly impressed.
I pity the fool that doesn't love Garanimals!

Then we headed to Bar Harbor where we strolled, checked out a toy store and then plopped down on the grass to watch a cruise ship leave and a schooner return. Oliver stretched out (he's stretching in these pictures, not sleeping...

Ahhh.. out of that car seat!

Not enjoying the view... maybe next year...

Sigh... only three more hours until I head to the day care to nurse him at lunch!  :)
